Kongsberg Automotive's steering column range covers fixed, tilt, telescope, and combined tilt-and-telescope designs for off-road vehicles, agricultural tractors, and construction equipment. The modular, self-supported design provides best-in-class ergonomic working conditions and is fully configurable to customer specifications. Steering columns in off-highway machines must accommodate a wide range of operator sizes and working postures - from a combine harvester driver spending long days in the field to a compact excavator operator working in confined spaces. The range's 13-model lineup spans fixed columns through double-tilt-and-telescope configurations (XT850-XT1050), with column lengths from 100 to 700 mm and 85 mm of telescope stroke, giving OEMs the flexibility to tailor reach and angle to any cab layout while meeting ISO 5010 and SAE J1814 standards.
