Kongsberg Vernier Control Cable

The Vernier Control Cable is used wherever an operator needs to set and hold a precise engine speed without continuous hand pressure - typical applications include stationary generators, pump sets, air compressors, industrial engines, and agricultural equipment where consistent RPM is critical to output or process quality. The two-stage control head allows coarse speed setting by pulling the knob, then fine-tuning via 6¼ turns-per-inch vernier rotation, with an adjustable friction brake that locks the chosen position against vibration and governor back-pressure. Available in 30L, 30, and 40 series, the head can be purchased separately and combined with any compatible cable assembly for flexible installation.
