Wheel motor units from AMER S.p.A. integrate motor and wheel into a single bolt-on assembly for battery-powered vehicles such as electric forklifts, floor cleaning machines, hospital beds, and mobility aids, eliminating the need for a separate transmission or driveshaft. The MTRMP series uses Permanent Magnet DC technology, while the MTR11 series offers DC/AC Shunt Wound or Brushless variants, covering wheel diameters from 200 mm to 350 mm and output power up to 2,500 W. Optional electromagnetic brake, encoder, and electronic driver allow the full drive unit to be specified as a complete traction system from a single supplier.
